NordIChi 2026 hosts a doctoral consortium for PhD students in the field of Human-Computer Interaction on Saturday, 3 October 2026. The consortium will be held in person only (not hybrid).
The doctoral consortium is a closed event for pre-accepted participants who have received confirmation of attendance by email. We are not accepting any further submissions.
During the day, the students get feedback on their projects and a chance to discuss achievements and plans with each other and the organizers. The consortium is also an opportunity for students to get to know other junior researchers in the same stage of their academic process.
Place: Academill building, Åbo Akademi University, Vaasa (please see Venue page for details)

Time: Saturday 3rd October, preliminary at 9:30-17:30 (exact time will be confirmed later by the doctoral consortium chairs)
Coffees and lunch are included in the participation fee.
Doctoral consortium dinner:
After the doctoral consortium (preliminary starting time 18:00), we welcome all participants to join the doctoral consortium dinner. The dinner is held at restaurant Niska, and it is included in the doctoral consortium fee. Niska is located in the city center, and the address is Hovioikeudenpuistikko 13, 65100 Vaasa.
