Join us for our first meeting on 12.12. at 15-16 at VME and online!
VME Interaction Design Environment is happy to announce the start of a multi-disciplinary HCI research community at the University of Vaasa. We welcome students, doctoral students, and researchers from all fields working with topics related to HCI to join us for presentations and discussion. The group offers possibility to present your own work and to discuss current research on the field. There will be hybrid meetings every other month at the VME interaction design environment (TF4105 at Technobothnia) and online (request Zoom link from the organizers).

Monday 12.12.2022 at 15:00-16:00
Hannu Honkanen will give a presentation about his master thesis from the field of information systems. Title of the thesis is “Ohjeistus opetusympäristössä toimivan robotin ulkonäön suunnitteluun”, and it discusses guidelines on designing the outlook of a teaching robot. The presentation is in English.
Tuesday 24.1.2023 at 10:00-11:00
Laura Havinen, Juho-Pekka Mäkipää and Teemu Mäenpää will present their on-going work related to a literature review of the user experience research related to learning technologies.
The presentations will last appr. 15 minutes. After that, there is room for questions and comments, and also for general discussion related to the field.
