VME4CHI – Guidelines to arrange UX workshops with teenagers

VME4CHI seminar logoVME Interaction Design Environment is happy to invite you to join the multi-disciplinary HCI research community at the University of Vaasa. We welcome students, doctoral researchers, and researchers from all fields working with topics related to HCI to join us for presentations and discussion. The group offers the opportunity to present your work and discuss current research in the field. There will be hybrid meetings every other month at the VME interaction design environment (TF4105 at Technobothnia) and online (request Zoom link from the organizers).

At this meeting, Elisa Ruuti will give a presentation about her master’s thesis in the field of information systems. The thesis discusses guidelines for how companies can arrange participatory design UX workshops with teenagers. The work continues with the themes started on our UX course which was awarded the Vuoden digihanke award by the Ostrobothnia Chamber of Commerce.

We will have our next VME4CHI in autumn 2023. Want to present your work there? Please contact laura.havinen@uwasa.fi

The presentation will last appr. 15 minutes. After that, there is room for questions and comments and general discussion related to the field.

We wish you a warm welcome!
