You are wellcome to join us on a boat trip right after the conference. The cruise will take us to Kuusisaari island where there will be a full one hour stop and possibility to enjoy a meal in Restaurant Janne´s Saloon. Total trip time is approximately 3 hours. The boat will pick us up from the university.

The trip will take us to the unique Kvarken Archipelago, which is Finland’s only Natural World Heritage Site on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Together with Sweden’s High Coast, the Kvarken Archipelago is the best place in the world to experience and understand the land uplift phenomenon caused by the last Ice Age.

The trip will take place on the August 21st. The boat will leave at 11:00 and return at 3 p.m.
