Informing or promoting? The functions of organizational tweets on #blockchain: A presentation at NordMedia2021


Our research team (Hanna Limatius, Tanja Sihvonen, Merja Koskela, and Alesha Serada) will present new findings on the ways in which organizations engage in “blockchain talk” on Twitter at the NordMedia2021 conference (18-20 Aug 2021). The conference, which takes place online, is organized by the University of Iceland in cooperation with the national Nordic research associations and Nordicom.

The theme of this year’s conference is Crisis and Resilience: Nordic Media Research on the Frontline. Our presentation is part of Division 8: Organization, Communication and Promotion, which brings together research fields such as public relations, organizational communication, corporate communication, crisis communication, promotional communication and marketing communication.
