Marko Kohtamäki is a Professor of Strategy, and a director of the “Strategic Business Development” (SBD) research group at the University of Vaasa, and a Visiting Professor at Luleå University of Technology. Prof. Kohtamäki takes special interest in digital servitization, product-service systems, business model innovation, strategic practices and organizational change, business intelligence and strategic alliances. Prof. Kohtamäki has published in Strategic Management Journal, International Journal of Management Reviews, International Journal of Operations and Production Management, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Technological forecasting and social change, International Journal of Production Economics, Long Range Planning, Technovation, Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Business Research, amongst others.
Dr. Rodrigo Rabetino is a Professor of Strategic Management in the School of Management and the Vaasa Energy Business Innovation Centre (VEBIC) at the University of Vaasa. His current research activities concern servitization and product-service systems, business models, and strategy as practice. He has published articles in international journals such as Regional Studies, International Journal of Management Reviews, International Journal of Operations and Production Management, Industrial Marketing Management, International Journal of Production Economics, Technovation, and Journal of Small Business Management. Moreover, Dr. Rabetino has served as a guest editor in many outlets, such as Industrial Marketing Management, International Journal of Operations and Production Management, International Journal of Management Reviews, and Small Business Economics.
Vinit Parida (Ph.D.) is a professor at entrepreneurship and innovation at Luleå University of Technology, Sweden. His research interests include servitization, business models, open innovation, and organizational capabilities. He has published more than 100 journal articles, including articles in Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management Studies, Long Range Planning, Industrial Marketing Management, Production and Operations Management, Journal of Cleaner Production, and others.
David Sjödin is an associate professor of entrepreneurship and innovation at Luleå University of Technology, Sweden and a professor of entrepreneurship and innovation at University of South Eastern Norway. He conducts research on the topics of servitization, AI and digitalization, innovation ecosystems, and business model innovation in collaboration with leading global firms and regularly consults industry and government. He has published 50+ papers in distinguished international journals, including California Management Review, Long Range Planning, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Journal of Business Research, Industrial Marketing Management, Technovation and others. He is the recipient of multiple awards for his research, including the Entrepreneurship Forum Young Researcher Award 2018 for his research on the servitization of industry.
Ali Ziaee Bigdeli is the Associate Dean Research and a Professor of Industrial Service Innovation at Aston Business School, Aston University. He is also the Co-Director of the Advanced Services Group, the centre of excellence in research and practice on servitization and advanced services. His interests lie in the organisational change and business model innovation brought about when organisations move towards providing capabilities rather than just selling products on a transactional basis.
Tim Baines holds the Chair in Operations Strategy at the Aston Business School, Birmingham, and is the founder of the Advanced Services Group (ASG). ASG is an international leader in research underpinning the adoption of high-value service-based business models. This centre has extensive work with businesses large and small and is supported by a portfolio of funding from industry, UKRI (EPSRC, ESRC, Innovate UK) and the EU. Professor Baines is amongst the most highly cited scholars in the field of servitization and Product-Service Systems and has published over 300 articles including 70 refereed journal papers, and a further 30 books and chapters. He has been awarded over £35M over the past 15 years, and his impact and contribution to practice is reflected in the extensive global collaborations he has established with companies such as Airbus, Boeing, Caterpillar, Ford, Goodyear, Rolls-Royce, and Thales. He has also been influential in Regional, National and European policy, is regularly invited to participate in academic and industrial events around the world. He is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of both the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and the Institution of Engineers and Technologists and has held a number of senior positions and directorships within universities and business.
