The Nordic Conference on Human-Computer Interaction will be held 3–7 October 2026 in Vaasa, Finland, at the University of Vaasa and Åbo Akademi campus area. The Organizing Committee warmly invites you to take part in the commercial exhibition arranged in connection with the conference, or to participate as a sponsor. We anticipate about 250-350 participants working in the field of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) research to participate from around the world.
Our conference theme, Pulse – exploring the energy that drives us, represents the dynamic highs and calm lows of life, keeping us thriving. Our program will include sessions that reflect a wide range of perspectives – from theoretical and practical insights to creative explorations. The conference week begins with pre-conference activities at Åbo Akademi in Vaasa on October 3–4, including the Doctoral Consortium, workshops, tutorials, and social evening programs. The main conference at the University of Vaasa takes place on October 5–7, featuring keynotes, parallel sessions, and both a welcome reception and a conference dinner. Wednesday serves as the conference’s Industry Day, featuring industry experience presentations, an industry-focused panel discussion and keynote, and optional company tours in the evening. The week concludes on October 8 with an excursion to the Kvarken Natural World Heritage Site.
The exhibition will be open during the conference hours and located by the lecture halls. The coffee breaks will take place in the exhibition area.
