On Thursday from 10.15 to 11.00: Benchmarking governments and public administrations – It´s all about interpretation and communication

In his research, Demmke is currently focusing on evaluating the effectiveness of ethics policies and innovative approaches in the field. Demmke is also working on conceptualization of institutionalization of integrity policies in times of administrative renewal.

Kim Strandberg

Presentation on Thursday from 13:00 to 14:00 together with Thomas Karv: Deliberating municipal mergers – the case of Mustasaari 

Strandberg’s research focuses on political communication and voting behavior on social media and online. In addition, he is interested in democracy research and citizens’ dialogue.

Thomas Karv

Presentation on Thursday from 13:00 to 14:00 together with Kim Strandberg: Deliberating municipal mergers – the case of Mustasaari 

Karv’s main research topics revolves around political attitudes, political cleavages and European integration. Karv defended his doctoral thesis in 2019, which was about public attitudes towards the European Union. Karv is, furthermore, also a member of the City Council and the City Board of Uusikaarlepyy
