Tanja Sihvonen is Professor of Communication Studies at the University of Vaasa, Finland. She is specialized in digital media, games, and participatory cultures in social media.​

 

Jukka Sihvonen is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Aalto University School of Business.Professor Sihvonen specializes in the analysis of unstructured data and Big Data in accounting and finance.

 

Merja Koskela is a professor of Applied linguistics at the University of Vaasa. Her research interests include professional discourse, financial communication and online communication.

 

Elina Haapamäki is a post-doctoral researcher in accounting at the School of Accounting and Finance at the University of Vaasa. Her research interests lie in the area of auditing regulation, financial reporting, and harmonization.

 

Alesha Serada is a PhD candidate at the School of Marketing and Communication at the University of Vaasa, Finland. Originally from Belarus, they gained their MA in social sciences at the European Humanities University in Vilnius. Their academic work revolves around new and emerging forms of exploitation, deception and coercion in digital media, most recently in relation to blockchain technologies.

 

Jori Grym is a doctoral candidate at the Hanken School of Economics and a researcher in the Behavioral Economics group at the Helsinki Graduate School of Economics. His main focus of research is on ethical decision making and moral judgement, especially in the context of cryptocurrencies and other digital monetary instruments.

 

Hanna Limatius (PhD) is a researcher at the School of Marketing and Communication at the University of Vaasa. She received her doctoral degree in English philology from Tampere University in 2020. Her main research interests include digital discourse studies, language use on social media, and corpus linguistics.
