Denis Davydov is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Hanken School of Economics and a Docent in Finance and Banking at the University of Vaasa. He has previously worked as a Senior Lecturer in Finance at the University of Vaasa and has been a visiting researcher at the Bank of Finland (BOFIT). He has also held visiting positions at the University of Manchester, Stockholm University, Auburn University, and Clemson University. He has given lectures at the Stockholm Business School, Higher School of Economics, and the University of Jyväskylä.
Sami Vähämaa is a Professor of Accounting and Finance and the Head of the Finance Group at the University of Vaasa. He is also currently affiliated with the University of Turku and the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, and he has previously held visiting appointments at the University of Central Florida, the University of Manchester, the University of Sydney, Florida Atlantic University, Bentley University, Deusto Business School, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), and the European Central Bank (ECB).
