At SPR Reshop stores, clean and good-quality items donated by the public are sold, and the proceeds are used to support local aid work in Finland as well as international clothing assistance. The Finnish Red Cross focuses on helping ordinary people in Finland in a variety of difficult situations. This includes providing aid and disaster relief, as well as training volunteers for friendship programs, first aid, and emergency preparedness. We also participate in many festivals and other events by providing first aid points.
Supporting youth and the elderly is also a core part of our mission. This activity is partially funded by the revenue generated from SPR Reshop. Supporting the principles of the circular economy is a central aspect of SPR Reshop’s operations.
We are delighted to take part in the Global X-Culture Symposium 2025 and to present displays highlighting Finnish culture. These displays offer an opportunity to learn more about history, culture, different eras, and styles. Today’s world of fashion and design embraces a mix of styles from different periods. In both clothing and home decor, items from all eras are in demand and have their own admirers. One person’s unwanted item can be another person’s treasure.
