Professor Peter Easton<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Professor Peter Easton\u00a0<\/strong>is the Notre Dame Alumni Professor of Accountancy and the Director of the Center for Accounting Research and Education (CARE) at the Mendoza College of Business.\u00a0 He is the Editor in Chief of\u00a0Accountability in a Sustainable World Quarterly<\/i>. He holds a PhD in accounting and finance from UC Berkeley. His expertise lies in accounting, sustainability, corporate valuation and financial statement analysis. Professor Easton has published in leading journals, including\u00a0The Accounting Review<\/i>,\u00a0Review of Accounting Studies<\/i>,\u00a0Journal of Accounting Research<\/i>, etc. Professor Peter Easton has received many honours including the Limperg Medal for his contribution to accounting research in The Netherlands and the\u00a0AAA Financial Accounting Reporting Section Best Paper Award and he is a member of the Australian Accounting Hall of Fame.<\/p>\n

Kristian Koktvedgaard<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Kristian Koktvedgaard <\/span><\/b><\/span>is an experienced professional in corporate reporting, accounting policy, and sustainability disclosure. He works with regulatory and reporting developments affecting European businesses through his role at Confederation of Danish Industries, where he focuses on financial reporting, auditing, and sustainability reporting. <\/span>He has been actively involved in international standard-setting and professional cooperation, contributing to initiatives that support transparent, consistent, and high-quality corporate reporting. His work spans both financial and non-financial reporting, including developments in digital reporting and sustainability frameworks. Within EFRAG, he contributes his expertise to advancing European sustainability reporting and strengthening the quality and comparability of corporate disclosures across the region.<\/p>\n

Professor\u00a0Agnes Cheng<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The roundtable discussion will be facilitated by Professor<\/strong>\u00a0Agnes Cheng<\/strong>, The University of Oklahoma (USA). Professor Cheng\u00a0is the Dale Looper Chair in Accounting in the Price College of Business. She was the Chair Professor and Head at the School of Accounting and Finance, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University before joining the University of Oklahoma.\u202fShe has served on numerous editorial boards including\u00a0The Accounting Review<\/i>\u00a0and the\u00a0Contemporary Accounting Research<\/i>. She is currently serving as Editor for\u00a0Journal of Business Finance and Accounting<\/i>,\u00a0Journal of Accounting, Auditing and Finance<\/i>\u00a0(conference),\u00a0Journal of International Accounting Research<\/i>, Associate Editor for\u00a0Journal of Financial Stability<\/i>; and as Senior Track Editor for\u00a0China Accounting and Finance Review<\/i>. Prof. Cheng has also provided key services for several accounting organizations including President for CAPANA and Vice President \u2013 International for American Accounting Association.<\/p>\n

Professor Stephen Penman<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Professor Stephen Penman<\/strong>, Columbia Business School (USA). Professor Penman is\u00a0a Professor in the Graduate School of Business, Columbia University where he is also co-director of the Center for Excellence in Accounting and Security Analysis and director of the Masters Program in Accounting and Fundamental Analysis.\u00a0He is a founding editor of the\u202fReview of Accounting Studies<\/em>\u202fand served as managing editor from 2002-2006. He is on the advisory boards of Phoenician Capital and Boston Harbor Investment Management and has served as an advisor to fundamental asset managers in the U.S., Europe, and China. He also serves on the Board of Directors of UBS Financial Services Inc. Hedge Fund Solutions and is chair of its audit committee. In 2019 he was elected to the Accounting Hall of Fame and in 2020 to the Australian Accounting Hall of Fame.<\/p>\n

Kaisa Tulenheimo-J\u00e4rvinen<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Kaisa Tulenheimo-J\u00e4rvinen<\/strong>\u00a0is Head\u00a0of ESG Controlling and Reporting\u00a0at Nokia with over 15 years of experience in finance, accounting, corporate reporting and controlling. In her current role, she leads Nokia\u2019s global ESG financial reporting and combines finance and sustainability knowledge in developing the reporting\u00a0in line with the evolving sustainability reporting regulations. Kaisa has recently been appointed to the IFRS Advisory Council as Nokia’s representative \u2014 a body that provides strategic advice to the IFRS Foundation, the IASB and the ISSB \u2014 where she looks forward to contributing to the Foundation’s mission and helping shape the future of international corporate reporting alongside investors, standard-setters, academics and other\u00a0stakeholders.<\/p>\n
