His research topics include decision-making and choice behaviour, management ethics and values, and sustainable development and he has published widely in philosophical and social scientific journals. Currently,\u00a0Tommi is involved in an international research project to develop genetically modified plant species for biofuel production (ASAP: The Alliance for Socially Acceptable and Actionable Plants). He examines the acceptability and ethical implications of genetically modified plants and of the biofuels produced from them.
