The goal of reviewing is to assess whether a paper makes a credible contribution to Human\u2013Computer Interaction (HCI), and to provide constructive feedback that helps authors improve their work. Reviews play a central role in shaping the final program.<\/p>\n
A strong review is:<\/p>\n
A high-quality review is typically at least several paragraphs in length. Very short reviews without sufficient explanation are rarely helpful to authors or ACs. As a useful guide, consider the level of feedback you would hope to receive on your own work.<\/p>\n
Where concerns are raised, reviewers should, where possible, suggest how the work could be strengthened.<\/p>\n
When forming your recommendation, consider:<\/p>\n
Papers should be assessed on their own terms, recognizing that contributions to HCI may take different forms.<\/p>\n
Submissions under review are confidential and should not be shared or discussed outside the review process. Reviewers should not attempt to identify the authors of a submission.<\/p>\n
