Registration Information<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Full registration<\/strong> includes participation to the scientific program Mon-Wed, coffee breaks, lunches, the welcome reception, the conference dinner, and an industry visit** on Wednesday evening.<\/p>\n

Student registration<\/strong> includes participation to the scientific program Mon-Wed, coffee breaks, lunches, the welcome reception, the conference dinner, and an industry visit** on Wednesday evening.<\/p>\n

Pre-conference (per day)<\/strong> includes participation in tutorials and workshops during one pre-conference day (Saturday or Sunday), as well as coffee breaks and lunch.<\/p>\n

Doctoral consortium<\/strong> includes coffee breaks, lunch, and the doctoral consortium dinner on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Industry day only<\/strong> includes participation on Wednesday, including coffee breaks, lunch, the Wednesday tutorial, and the industry visit** on Wednesday evening.<\/p>\n

Wednesday tutorial only<\/strong> includes participation in the tutorial held on Wednesday, including one coffee break and lunch.<\/p>\n

* Late registration includes coffee breaks, lunches, the welcome reception, and the conference dinner, subject to availability.<\/em><\/p>\n

** Capacity for the industry visit is limited to 50 participants.<\/em><\/p>\n

Confirmation of registration<\/h4>\n

You will receive a confirmation to your email after registration. If you do not receive a confirmation, please check your junk email folder just in case. You may also contact\u00a0events@certia.fi<\/a><\/p>\n

Methods of payment<\/h4>\n

1) Credit card payment (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
\nOn the registration form, choose the credit card payment, and you will be forwarded to the payment service. *<\/p>\n

2) Online bank payment (for Finnish\/Nordic banks only)
\nOn the registration form, choose online bank, and you will be forwarded to the payment service.*<\/p>\n

3) Mobile payment (MobilePay\/Google Pay\/Apple Pay, Siirto)
\nOn the registration form, choose the mobile, and you will be forwarded to the payment service to pay. *<\/p>\n

4) PDF invoice (payment with bank transfer). A PDF invoice will be sent to your e-mail address after you have submitted your registration. In case you are not paying the invoice yourself, please forward it to the right person.<\/p>\n

5) E-invoice (for Finnish organisations only). An e-invoice will be sent to the e-invoicing address provided.
\nInvoices: please make sure to give the correct invoicing address. An extra invoicing charge of 10 EUR will be added in case a new invoice is processed (revised PDF or e-invoice due to a wrong address or otherwise modified).<\/p>\n

The registration fees are invoiced by Certia Oy (VAT FI23274223) on behalf of the local organiser University of Vaasa, whose scientific conferences are exempted from VAT, except social programme events which are subject to VAT 25.5%.<\/p>\n

*Paytrail Plc (VAT FI21228397) acts as a collecting payment service provider in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Plc is authorized payment institution. Paytrail Plc appears as the payee on the bank statement or card invoice and forwards the payment to the event organizer. In case of reclamations, please contact the event organiser.<\/p>\n

All payments must be made in euros (EUR).<\/p>\n

Cancellation policy<\/h4>\n

Cancellation of registration must be made in writing (email) to events@certia.fi before 3 September 2026. No fees will be refunded after this date. A processing fee of EUR 50 will be deducted from all refunds. Payments less than EUR 50 will not be refunded at any point. In the event that the meeting is cancelled by the Meeting Organisers, or cannot take place for any reason outside the control of the Meeting Organisers, the registration fee shall be refunded in full. The liability of the Meeting Organiser shall be limited to that refund.<\/p>\n

If the meeting is cancelled by the Meeting Organisers and no substantially equivalent virtual, hybrid, or rescheduled event is offered, or if the meeting cannot take place in any form for reasons outside the reasonable control of the Meeting Organisers, the registration fee shall be refunded in full. The liability of the Meeting Organisers shall be limited to that refund. If required by applicable laws or regulations, or if the Organizer determines that the meeting cannot reasonably be held as planned due to force majeure or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control, the Organizer may convert the meeting to a virtual or hybrid event. In the event of conversion to a virtual or hybrid event, registrations shall remain valid and no refund shall be due solely as a result of the change in format.<\/p>\n

Any fees paid for social events, dinners, excursions, or other in-person activities that are not provided as part of the virtual event or are otherwise cancelled shall be refunded to participants, subject only to deduction of such reasonable, documented, and non-recoverable third-party costs as the Organizer has actually incurred in relation to those specific activities. The Organizer shall use reasonable efforts to mitigate such costs and to obtain any available refunds from suppliers.<\/p>\n

Change of the participant<\/h4>\n

At any time after registration, in case you are unable to attend for any reason, you will have the opportunity to send a colleague in your place at no additional cost. In such case, please contact Certia Events at events@certia.fi as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

Insurance<\/h4>\n

Please note that the meeting participants are not covered by any insurance (travel, medical, accident, or liability) taken by the Meeting Organisers. The Meeting Organisers cannot accept liability for any loss or damage suffered by any participant or accompanying person or another person during travel to and from the meeting or during the meeting. Participants are advised to consider purchasing their own travel insurance and to extend their personal policy to cover personal possessions. Depending on the policy, travel insurance may also cover cancellation costs and refund of paid participation or registration fees; participants are responsible for verifying coverage with their insurer.<\/p>\n
