For authors of accepted papers please prepare your camera-ready paper according to The ACM Production System (TAPS) production workflow: https:\/\/authors.acm.org\/proceedings\/production-information\/taps-production-workflow<\/a>.\u200b<\/p>\n

Submission Steps<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. You will get an email from the ACM e-Rights system in the beginning of July<\/li>\n
  2. Complete the ACM e-Rights form as soon as possible<\/strong>, but at the latest by July 22nd, 2026<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Upload camera-ready paper in the correct template to TAPS and PCS by August 7th, 2026<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Upload supplementary files (if any) through the ACM Artifact Submissions form by August 7th, 2026<\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. At least one author needs to register to present the submission in person, suggested author registration deadline August 10th, 2026<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    ACM e-Rights process<\/strong>
    \nAfter acceptance, the corresponding author will receive an email request to complete the ACM e-Rights form. The information (authors, affiliations, emails) you provide in the ACM e-Rights form will be used in the final published article, so ensure it is correct and matches the data submitted to PCS. Please check your inbox and spam folder, and pay special attention to emails from rightsreview@acm.org.<\/p>\n

    Upload your accepted work to both TAPS and PCS
    \n<\/strong>Submit your camera-ready paper to TAPS and PCS as instructed, and supplementary materials through the ACM Artifact Submissions form. TAPS will generate the final publication files. During the TAPS process, please pay special attention to emails from tapsadmin@aptaracorp.awsapps.com.<\/p>\n

    Please find more details on the mandatory steps below:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    1. Complete the ACM e-Rights form by July 22<\/span>nd<\/span>, 2026<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n

    The\u00a0corresponding\u00a0author will\u00a0soon\u00a0receive an email from ACM Rights Review (<\/span>rightsreview@acm.org<\/span><\/a>) with a link to the electronic ACM copyright-permission form (e-Rights) for completion. You must complete and submit the e-Rights form by July 22<\/strong><\/span>nd<\/strong>, 2026<\/strong>. Please note that you are NOT allowed to change the list of authors or the submission title. Remember to also add funding information. Upon completing the form, you will receive a confirmation email.<\/span><\/p>\n

    PLEASE NOTE: The information (authors, affiliations, emails) you provide in the e-Rights form will be used in the final published article, so ensure it is correct and matches the data\u00a0submitted\u00a0to PCS. The e-Rights data will override the data that is in the submitted article.\u00a0<\/span>Once submitted, these details are very difficult to change.<\/span><\/p>\n

    2. Note the new ACM OPEN publishing model<\/span><\/h4>\n

    Please note that\u00a0Research papers and Critical Writings\u00a0are\u00a0eligible for<\/span>\u00a0Article Processing Charge<\/span>\u00a0(APC).\u00a0<\/span>All other\u00a0submissions\u00a0will be published under ACM Open Access as \u201cExtended Abstracts\u201d\u00a0and\u00a0will not be\u00a0subject to\u00a0an\u00a0APC.<\/span><\/p>\n

    ACM has introduced a new\u00a0open access\u00a0publishing model for the International Conference Proceedings Series (ICPS). Authors based at institutions that are not yet part of the ACM Open program and do not qualify for a full geographic waiver will\u00a0be required\u00a0to pay an\u00a0article processing charge (APC) to publish their ICPS article in the ACM Digital Library. To\u00a0determine\u00a0whether or not\u00a0an APC will\u00a0be applicable\u00a0to your article, please follow the detailed guidance here:\u00a0<\/span>https:\/\/www.acm.org\/publications\/icps\/author-guidance<\/span><\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    PLEASE NOTE: charges for ACM OPEN are based on the corresponding author of your paper, as you set it in e-Rights. If that author\u2019s institution is not an ACM OPEN member, then an APC may be charged. If your paper has authors from other institutions that are ACM OPEN\u00a0members\u00a0but your current corresponding author is not, then you can change the corresponding author of your paper.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    3. Upload your paper to TAPS and PCS by August 7<\/span>th<\/span>, 2026<\/span><\/h4>\n

    Upload the camera-ready version of your paper to TAPS:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    The\u00a0corresponding\u00a0author can expect an email from TAPS (<\/span>tapsadmin@aptaracorp.awsapps.com<\/span><\/a>) within 24 hours after completing the e-Rights form. Your submission’s\u00a0camera-ready version must be generated with the ACM Publishing System (TAPS) and include accessible figure descriptions.\u00a0You must make all necessary modifications while respecting the reviewers\u2019 comments to your paper and upload the file to TAPS by August 7<\/span>th<\/span>, 2026.\u00a0Note that this is the\u00a0initial\u00a0upload\u00a0deadline,\u00a0and TAPS might require you to re-upload your files several times\u00a0after that. Do NOT approve the proof in TAPS if it still requires\u00a0modifications.\u00a0No extensions will be given\u00a0to the\u00a0initial\u00a0upload deadline. If\u00a0you\u00a0fail\u00a0to\u00a0submit\u00a0your material on time, it will be removed from the conference program. The TAPS team will handle accessibility tagging.<\/span><\/p>\n

    PLEASE NOTE:\u00a0Do not upload your supplementary files (e.g., code, video) to TAPS. All extra files uploaded to TAPS will be ignored in the process,\u00a0but this will slow down processing.\u00a0See the next steps for instructions related to supplementary files.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Upload the camera-ready version of your paper to PCS:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Upload the PDF version of your camera-ready paper to PCS by August 7<\/span>th<\/span>, 2026 (i.e., the same PDF that you upload to TAPS). This version will be used for Track Chairs or ACs to check the final version of the paper. See \u201cFinal Preparation of Camera-Ready Submission\u201d above.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    4. Upload supplementary materials (if any) through the ACM Artifact Submissions form by August 7th, 2026<\/h4>\n

    If you have supplementary material that was included in your original submission and accepted for publication, upload it through the ACM Artifact Submissions form. Please do not add supplementary material that was not reviewed.<\/p>\n

    In the e-Rights form, answer \u201cyes\u201d to questions related to supplementary materials; if you answer \u201cno\u201d, your materials will not be published. You will receive a link to the ACM Artifact Submissions form in the TAPS instructions email. The correct DOI should be pre-populated in the form; if it is not, please enter the correct DOI so that the supplementary materials are linked to your paper. Please select the most appropriate type for your material in the drop-down menu. A zip file should only be used when it keeps separate but related files together, such as software; otherwise, upload the supplementary file as-is, for example as an mp4, pdf, or pptx. Where possible, please keep supplementary materials to 2GB or smaller.<\/p>\n

    5. Ensure accessibility needs at the conference are met<\/span><\/h4>\n

    If you have specific accessibility needs to present your work, the Diversity and Inclusion Chairs would appreciate a heads-up by email (<\/span>nordichi2026accessibility@uwasa.fi<\/span><\/a>)\u00a0as soon as possible. Also, make your official request during registration.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    6. Register to the conference by August 10<\/span>th<\/span>, 2026, and present your work<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n

    The\u00a0NordiCHI\u00a02026 requires that at least one author of an accepted submission register and attend the conference to present the submission in person.\u00a0Otherwise, the submission will be removed from the conference program and the ACM Digital Library.\u00a0The conference program, including the scheduled time of your presentation, will be available on the conference website in August.\u00a0Further details\u00a0regarding\u00a0presentation arrangements will be provided closer to the conference.\u00a0Please note that\u00a0NordiCHI\u00a02026 has no hybrid or remote attendance.<\/span> To help you\u00a0naviga<\/span>te\u00a0<\/span>Nordi<\/span>CHI<\/span>\u00a02026, please see https:\/\/sites.uwasa.fi\/nordichi2026\/practical-information\/how-to-navigate-nordichi-2026\/<\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
