The Multinational Finance Journal (MFJ) is the flagship journal of the Multinational Finance Society (MFS). The MFS is a non-profit organization that was established on June 15, 1995. The Society’s mission is to advance and disseminate financial knowledge and research findings relating to developed and developing countries among scholars and members of the business communities. The MFS accomplishes its mission by publishing the MFJ and organizing conferences and symposia in different international locations.
The Multinational Finance Society has been publishing the MFJ quarterly since 1997. The MFJ aims to attract high-quality submissions that deal with topical issues in the areas of finance and accounting. The University of Vaasa is proud of hosting the MFJ since late 2024.
The MFS also organizes annual conferences and special symposia in order to give a forum to academic researchers, educators and practitioners to share, discuss and debate timely financial issues, theories, ideas and research findings relating to developed and developing countries.
