In the French pronunciation course, you will learn how to produce the sounds of the French language and recognize the most central correspondences between spelling and pronunciation. You will learn the correct intonation of affirmative and interrogative sentences, and the correct accentuation and rhythm, as well as the most central rules\u00a0relative\u00a0to liaison.\u202f\u202f<\/span>\u202f<\/span><\/b>\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      All the materials are available in a digital learning environment\u202f<\/span>\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      You will study independently with the help of texts, recordings,\u00a0videos\u00a0and interactive exercises\u00a0<\/span>on the course’s Moodle platform. You will also\u00a0submit\u00a0five pronunciation assignments to the teacher for assessment.<\/span>\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      The evaluation is based on\u00a0the interactive\u00a0exercises\u00a0<\/span>and the pronunciation assignments submitted to the teacher.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      While there are no scheduled meeting times, students can contact the teacher with any questions or concerns via email or the digital platform. Virtual office hours and online sessions can also be arranged upon request and when needed.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

      Grading scale and evaluation criteria\u202f<\/span><\/b>\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

      To receive a passing grade, all tasks on the learning platform must be successfully completed by the end of the course. In each interactive task, the\u00a0minimum\u00a0passing grade\u202fis 1, which corresponds to 65% of the maximum points. The pronunciation assignments\u00a0submitted\u00a0to the teacher are evaluated on a Pass\/Fail basis.<\/span>\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
