Can I register for a KiVANET course after the registration period has ended?

Unfortunately, we cannot accept registrations after the registration period has ended.

I have not received a message from the teacher yet, and the course is about to start. What should I do?

First of all, check your university email account. Within the KiVANET network, we primarily use university email addresses to communicate.

Secondly, sometimes the processing time of registrations is quite short, so the teacher might send the message just a few days before the course starts. If you have not yet received a message before the last working day before the course starts, please send an email to kivanet(at)uef.fi.

Is attendance mandatory for online classes?

You can find the answer to this question in the course description for your course, available on this website. At the top of each course description you can find information about the schedule, online classes and the exam.

How can I transfer my credits to my home university?
