Courses

• The KiVANET network courses are open and free of charge for students of the higher education institutions that are part of the network. Check the list of member institutions to see whether your home institution belongs to the network.
• The maximum group size is 40 students, and only students from KiVANET member institutions can be admitted to the courses. If the number of applicants exceeds the maximum, participants will be selected by lottery, so the speed of registration does not affect your chances. The course places for the network’s summer 2026 courses will be allocated so that each member institution has one quota place, and the remaining places will be filled by lottery.
• Registration for courses takes place via the cross-institutional study service in Peppi or Sisu, depending on which system your home institution uses. Please check the registration instructions of your own institution.
• If you encounter any issues during registration, please contact your institution’s Peppi or Sisu support.
• We cannot accept late registrations after the registration period has ended. See the FAQ.
• Registrations are approved or rejected in Peppi or Sisu. The teacher will send a welcome message to the admitted students. Please check your spam folder – sometimes the welcome message may end up there!

Due to technical reasons, course schedules may differ from those announced, and in compelling situations individual courses may need to be cancelled or postponed.

Cancelling Your Participation

In Peppi: As long as your registration is in the status Pending approval, you can cancel it yourself by clicking the Cancel button.
If you wish to cancel your participation after the registration period has ended, please contact the course teacher.
