Work Package 3 and Work Package 4 represent the technical parts of the DigiBiogasHubs project. Work Package 3 focuses on developing the digital platform concept that will enable seamless interaction within and between biogas hubs, while Work Package 4 involves the concrete development work and deployment of the platform. Both work packages are led by Centria University of Applied Sciences.<\/p>\n
Work Package 3 officially began in April 2024, with its initial task being the identification of key requirements for the DigiBiogasHubs platform from multiple perspectives. This process involved a comprehensive review of existing platforms to evaluate their functionalities and user experiences. Stakeholder input was gathered through interviews and workshops to define user requirements and core features to ensure the platform meets diverse needs. Currently, the work continues on defining Open API requirements and preparing documentation, with the next steps involving the creation of service models and detailed documentation. This will form the basis of the platform\u2019s design.<\/p>\n
Work Package 4 started as planned in December 2024 and focuses on translating the conceptual work of Work Package 3 into a functional platform. The initial stages of software development are underway, with the aim of creating a concept platform for DigiBiogasHubs. Once sufficiently mature, the platform will be piloted, focusing on functional level needs identified in WP1\u2013WP3. This will include features from research work and select services tailored to the needs of stakeholders, ensuring that the pilot provides valuable insights while addressing practical requirements.<\/p>\n
